The BYU Autumn Classic will be held on the BYU Campus Cross Country Course. This year will again have transponder timing. Each athlete will have an RFID transponder on the reverse of their bib, which will eliminate the need for a complex finish chute.
The course has been re-designed so that the total distance is 3 Miles and each lap is 1 Mile. This will allow for a more accurate comparison of split times for each athlete. Results will be produced following the same format as is posted for the 2015 races. The course has been measured with a wheel and is within a few feet of 1 Mile. The arc of the start has been measured with a laser sextant and is an accurate arc on a 200 meter radius for a fair start.

The Frosh/Soph races are open only to freshmen and sophomores. (Please be honest.) The JV races are open to all ages.
Registration will open on August 1st. Registration will close at 8:00 a.m. sharp! (MDT) on Thursday, Sept. 1st. Please process your entries before that time.
The BYU Campus course is an exciting, challenging and very spectator friendly course. The course is open to spectators that want to be along the course to provide encouragement. 70% of the course is visible from the main stands, meaning that spectators that do not want to be on the course can still follow the progress of the races while seated in one location. The video scoreboard will be used to follow the race and for results!
The Classic promises to be a memorable event! Come join us!
