Welcome to the annual Murray Youth and Family Triathlon, a Labor Day Tradition in Murray Park. Additions to this year's race include women's specific t-shirts, post-race raffle with prizes for both youth and adults.We will order a few extra t-shirts, but people registering after Aug. 31 may have to wait to pick up their shirt. Everyone gets a tee, but we're a small operation. We can't order 100 extra shirts for possible late registrants. We'll re-order if necessary.
Packet pick-up is staged in front of the Park Center on Sunday night, Sept. 6, from 6:00-7:30 PM and on Monday morning Sept. 7 from 6:00-7:15 AM. There will be a short briefing at 7:30 PM on Sunday night. Adult race and youth race for all athletes 11+ will begin at 8 AM with a brief pre-race meeting at 7:50 AM.
Youth race will begin at approximately 8:30 AM with pre-race instruction prior to each age group start. Physically Challenged race begins at 7:30 AM. Staging for staggered swim start takes place on the grass on the south side of the pool building. Swim distance will remain at 150 yards for long course athletes again this year.
Register early and beat the late fee. Price goes back up on Aug. 28.

Adult Relay Ages 11+
Details
Relay teams can consist of any combination of male, female or mixed athletes 11+. Athletes younger than 11+ who wish to be a part of this relay will race the longer distances for their leg of the relay. Race begins at 8:30 AM. This relay is eligible for overall prizes and distances are the same as athletes 11+.

Family Fun Relay
Details
For families and friends with multiple distance preferences for relay legs. Mix and match your distances to suit your needs. All participants receive a finisher's medal, but they are not eligible for overall prizes. It would be impossible to make this relay competitive when participants are choosing their distances at each leg as it's feasible that no one relay team would be doing the exact same distances on each leg. The sole purpose of this category is participation. Although distances for this category are listed as the same distances for the Adult Relay, you may choose to swim, bike or run any of the distances for athletes 9+. We cannot include the distances associated with the race held entirely in the park for the youngest athletes as this would pose a major safety issue once athletes 9+ begin their race. Race begins at 8:45 AM. Distance Choices are as follows:
