Opening Prayer - 9:25 AM
Field Events begin at 9:30 AM
Running Events begin at 11:30 AM
CLASSIFICATIONS:
Girls' Junior-High - Division 1 / Division 2
Boys' Junior-High - Division 1 / Division 2
Girls' Senior-High - Division 1 / Division 2
Boys' Senior-High - Division 1 / Division 2
Each team may enter a maximum of three athletes in each individual running and field event (per classification), as well as one relay team (comprised of four athletes) in each relay event, per classification. Teams may enter an unlimited number of athletes in individual distance events (800 meter, 1600 meter, and 3200 meter).
Each athlete is permitted to participate in a maximum of four individual events (which are defined as any events that are not relays). There is no limit on the number of relays in which an athlete can participate, in addition to individual events (though we advise teams to limit relay participation to two per athlete, since the relays will take place consecutively). If an athlete competes in a fifth individual event, all individual and team points earned by that athlete in all individual events will be forfeited.
** All athlete entries are due via the RunnerCard system by 11:59 PM on Tuesday, May 10.
For seed times, please only use actual times from this year. Do not guess or estimate. The meet director has the authority to disregard seed times that seem irregular.
All events will be scored for the top 8 places (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1). Awards will be presented to the top two teams (most points) in each high school division and the top two teams in each junior high division. Individual ribbons will be presented to the top 8 finishers in each event, and one athlete in each classification will be recognized as Most Outstanding Athlete for that classification (selected on the basis of most individual points - with a tiebreaker of highest finishes in events). Individual points will be awarded only for individual events; relays will only earn team points.
The "open pit" format will apply to all field events, excluding high jump. Times for the high jump and open pit field events are listed on the meet Order of Events. Starting height for the high jump will be 3'4" (JH Boys and Girls), 3'6" (SH Girls), and 4'0" (SH Boys).
NCSAA will be providing PIAA officials to work as starter and as head judges at all field events. Each participating team will be asked to provide 1-2 adult volunteers to help with the meet.
