Reverse-order Sprint Triathlon
What I love about this race:
A reverse-order triathlon is a perfect race for first-time triathletes - ESPECIALLY when it's still a little chilly in Utah. All racers begin at the same time with a 5k run, followed by a 8.5-mile bike ride, and a 300-yard swim and run up the beach to the finish line. I love starting the race strong with the run, biking a challenging, yet fast cycling course, and ending the race with a refreshing dip in the pool. Not only do you get to participate in a triathlon at a super fun venue, but triathletes also will receive two free passes (a $43.98 value) to Splash Summit Water Park with each individual registration!

DISTANCE
5K run (3.1 miles), 8.5-mile bike ride, 300 yard swim

RACE START
All racers will begin at the starting line for the run, with the gun starting at 8:00 a.m. After running for 3.1 miles, racers will then transition within the park and exit on their bikes. Following a 8.5-mile bike ride, racers will come back into the transition area, leave their bikes, and jump into the pool for 300 yards to swim, and then walk out of the water along the beach to the finish line.

TRIATHLON AWARDS
All triathlon participants will be given a swag bag including an awesome, super-soft t-shirt, race bib, sweet finisher medal, two free tickets to Splash Summit, and sponsor swag.

Special awards will be given to the top three male and female triathlete finishers overall.

Sprint Triathlon Individual Racers:
$55 entry fee through December 31
$65 entry fee through March 31

Sprint Triathlon Teams (includes three swag bags, three t-shirts, three finisher medals, and three total passes to Splash Summit Waterpark - a team of 2-3 people where one person does the swim, one does the bike, one does the run):
$85 entry fee through December 31
$95 entry fee through March 31
$105 entry fee through May 31
$115 entry fee through July 31
$115 entry fee through August 27 and (possibly) no t-shirt)
