COVID-19 SITUATION UPDATE: Due to our current environment it is necessary to CANCEL this race. Nibley City Recreation plans to offer our Scarecrow Fun Run in September assuming health guidelines allow for mass gathering. For those that were already registered for the Egg Run, watch your e-mail to explore your options regarding registration transfers or refunds.

Our Heritage Days fitness event has merged with our Easter Egg Run fitness event this year for a once in a lifetime fitness experience for the whole family. So hop on over to Virgil Gibbons Heritage Park with your whole family to enjoy the best of our HOPSTACLE run experiences along with our classic Heritage Days run, now packed with the more creative and fun special categories than we have ever offered!

Details: Saturday JUNE 13th | Kids runs/hopstacle courses start @ 8:30 am, the "Rabbit Run" mile follows, then the 5K Race will start @ approx 9:00 am | Location: Virgil Gibbons Heritage Park 2456 S 800 W, Nibley, UT 84321
5K Includes:
-Tri-blend Running Shirt
-Start/Finish same location on a well marked course
-Professional timing from RunnerCard
-Printed Runner Card with finish time and placement
-Wifi access to finish results
-Web posted results
5K Registration cost (based on date of registration)
-$15 Early Bird Special (until 5/27)
-$18 Standard (until 6/11 @ 5 pm)
-$25 Day of Registration

Day of Registration Opens @ 7:30 am Closes @ 8:15 am (cash, and credit/debit card accepted)
All pre-registered runners will pick up their packet the day of the run. (@ the check in pavilion)

Prizes for:
-Top Runners in each category for both Male & Female participants
-Wheelchair division: top 3 finishers of the wheelchair division will receive a prize

Prizes for Special Categories:
-Stroller Runner: first finisher earns a prize pack. Depending on sponsor support other prizes may be available to additional top finishers. This is a smooth flat course on a hard surface. Winner must push a live child.
-Canine Runner: Top dog finishers with their owner (on leash) earns a prize. The dog must be a living breathing dog that walks/runs on their own paws, (sorry no stuffed animals).
-Best Finish-line Bunny Hop Performance: The best hop, skip, and jump just prior to the finish line will win a prize. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Extra style points will be given for spins, cartwheels, dance moves, and smiles.
-Funnest Pair: this prize goes to the pair of runners crossing the finish line that appear to be having the most fun.
-Heritage Style: think of and emulate the look of our original settlers or founding citizens. Do you have a bonnet or hat that would go with this race prize category?

The 5K Egg Run wraps up the morning after the FREE Children's Hopstacle course runs are completed

(All children receive a candy filled Easter eggs for each hand.)
