Note From Meet Director: Welcome to the 2016 YISD District Track Meet. All athletes have to be entered here on runner card no later than 10pm on Wednesday April 6th when entries will be closed. Since this is the district meet do not enter any times or marks for your athletes that they have not actually run.
We will be using a FAT timing system and we will be using lanes to identify the athletes. Because of this please stress to your athletes that it is important for them to stay in their lanes during the race (not distance races).
We will be using Eastwood HS athletes to help run field events so that you do not have to work and can coach your athletes. Please treat our athletes with respect as their work is keeping you from working.
Long Jump and Triple Jump are open pits, meaning that athletes will have one hour to take all 3 jumps. They can take all 3 jumps right away or spread them out, but after 1 hour the event will close, so please get your athletes to the event during that hour or they will lose the opportunity to take all of their attempts.
The 2400m race will have unlimited entries. This opportunity is provided for teams that have a lot of distance runners, but be advised that only the top 3 runners from each team will be scored. Instant results after each race can be found by going to ehstrack.bravehost.com on their phone, then click on instant results. Please advise athletes, coaches, and parents of this so they do not go to the finish tent asking for results, which distracts our timing team from their work.
