Note From Meet Director: Sign-up to the Mayfield JV 2010 meet is limited to schools approved/confirmed through the LCPS District Athletics office.
NMAA and National Federation rules will apply. **NOTE - This meet will not be scored for team points, however scoring entrants will receive individual/relay awards.
There will be two divisions, JV Mens & JV Womens. The running events are Finals Only. One relay from each school will be allowed. The schedule for running & field events will begin promptly and run by by the schedule provided. There will be no scratch lines for field events. We will follow the same format as the Varsity meet (Mirimanian) across the board. We will combine heats, or girls & boys where appropriate and agreed on by the head coaches.
All entries are due by Wednesday, April 21st, 2010 at 5 P.M. All registration must be entered before that time. If you registered as a team and need to modify any of your registration information, please come back to the site and make the changes before the deadline after which the site will be locked to process the entries. No adds or substitutions will be made after the close of the meet.
LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A VERY LIMITED BASIS ONLY UP UNTIL 7PM LATE ENTRY DEADLINE. ALL OTHER ENTRIES MUST BE ENTERED INTO RUNNERCARD BY THE 5PM DEADLINE. YOU MUST CALL ME TO MAKE THESE CHANGES, NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT DUE TO SETTING UP THE VARSITY MEET!!!
**NOTE - The non-scoring entries to be written in on day of meet still applies as was discussed in the email sent out earlier this week.
Entry Format - 3 entries per team per event, 1 relay per event per team. A contestant may enter a maximum of 5 events. Not more than 4 may be track events or nor more than 4 may be field events. No more than three of the four running events may be 400 meters or longer.
Field Events- Throwing/Jumps ? 4 attempts -Finals only.
The scratch meeting will begin at 3:00 P.M. in the field house located at the north end of the stadium, scratches for all running events will be made at that time. Scratches for the field events may be made at that time or will be made at the event site.
