Riverside Middle School Track Meet
March 31, 2012
We would like to invite you to our annual track meet.
Entries are due No later than Thursday March 29, and by 6:30 p.m.
Please inform your athletes the following rules that will be enforce during Saturday?s meet:
1. No jewelry will be allowed during the competition.
2. All uniforms for relay teams must be the same.
3. Starting blocks will be required for all 8th grade runners.
4. Please remind your athletes that unless their event has been called out, they must remain in the bleachers or outside the field NOT on the field.
5. Concessions will be available for athletes and hospitality for coaches.
6. Please bring your own tape measures, rakes will be provided for the jumping pits.
7. Ribbons will be provided for all event 1st, 2nd , and 3rd place finishers.
?8:30-8:50 A.M. Scratch Meeting/Hospitality 9:00 A.M. Start of Meet
?Running order: will be 7th Girls, 8th Girls, 7th Boys, 8th Boys
?Points: Points shall be given in individual events as follows: 1st 10 points, 2nd 8 points, 3rd 6 points, 4th 4 points,
5th 2 points, 6th 1 point.
?Points for relays shall be as follows: 1st 20 points, 2nd 16 points, 3rd 12 points, 4th 8 points, 5th 4 points, 6th 2 points.

-400 Relay
