Event Information

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Drop13 Half Marathon / 5K. This race boasts over 3000 feet of elevation drop down one of the prettiest canyons in Utah, Big Cottonwood Canyon. This time of year is spring time for the Canyon with a cool start yet a warm up during the run with a high temp around 75 degrees. Views on this course are of streams, pine trees, and incredible landscape. Though this race also offers high end finisher medals it does unique medals for those setting Personal Records (Which includes First Timers) and if you dropped 13 lbs in the process of training for this event. There are podium medals like usual as well for 3 deep in each age group. Many runners come away from this event with a neckful of accomplishment.
