Event Information
Santa Clara's Annual Swiss Days Celebration is truly a home-town celebration full of history and fun! Swiss Days includes a 5 kilometer run/walk, pancake breakfast, and of course the Swiss Days Parade. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Jacob Hamblin Home on Santa Clara Drive and continues just pass the Town Hall, showcasing everything from Harley Davidson motorcycles, antique cars, the Grand Marshall, local businesses and schools, live animals, and homemade floats. The festival will also include a Red Rock Car Show at Canyon View Park, in addition to continuous entertainment, dog agility demonstrations, heritage displays, pioneer craft demonstrations, family history lectures, children's activities, and more.
The 5K course starts at the Santa Clara Town Hall, follows Santa Clara Drive west, loops around Hamblin Drive, heads back east on Santa Clara Drive, onto Arrowhead Trail to Lava Flow Dr. and finishes on Vineyard Drive.
Prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female winners in the open and masters divisions and to the top three finisher in each age division. All contestants will be eligible for other prize drawings.
Registration is $15.00 through September 15th. From the 16th through the 24th @ 5:00 online registration will be $25.00 (you can register up to Sept. 27 @ 5:00 pm in the city office)
Early packet pick up will be on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Sept. 25-27 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Runner parking will be at the Snow Canyon High School Parking lot. Shuttles will be provided to the race start area from 6:00-6:30 am.
