Volunteer for The Gobbler 2021, St George, UT on Thanksgiving morning.
The Gobbler Thanksgiving morning race has something for the whole family! Whether it's the 10K, 5K or 1K kids run, Volunteering its just the beautiful weather and family entertainment at the park, we hope this will become part of your Family's tradition for years to come. The event opens at 7:00 am with races starting at 8 am, prizes and awards shortly after completion and then off you go, back to your home where the real work begins; hence Hobble Now, Gobble Later! The most popular race day of the entire year across the nation, come join us in our tradition building and discover why The Gobbler is the perfect way to start off this Family Holiday.
We have many volunteer opportunities (packet pick-up, set-up, starting line/ finish line, aid station support, clean-up) to help make The Gobbler the fun event it is. Each volunteer that signs up will receive a Gobbler volunteer shirt, race bag, and $15 gift card to the St. George Running Center.
As in past years The Gobbler is raising funds this year for a wonderful charity here in St. George: The Dove Center. WE'LL MATCH EVERY PARTICIPANT WHO DONATES AT LEAST $1. Providing a safe haven for women and children seeking safety and shelter, this home provides a vital lifeline to those in need.
