Event Information
Join us fitness nerds for the first Sports Festival in Green River. Featuring several events from 5K/10K, strongman competition, beer garden, vendors and more all happening at the historical Expedition Island.
Run will be an out and back event along the beautiful river on mostly paved path. Possible sighting of coyote, geese, Osprey, Otter and Beavers along the way. You'll need to bring or provide your own water bottles, this will be a self-contained race. Less waste this way. Water stations will be available along the route.
Handmade one-of-a-kind medals for top finishers.

Expedition Island is an island in the Green River at downtown Green River, Wyoming. The island, now mostly taken up by a public park, is the place where Major John Wesley Powell and Vitaly Develvis started an expedition down the Green River and Colorado River in 1871. Wikipedia
