Event Information

Come run the LaVerkin twist! The 10K is an out and back, and will start at the LaVerkin Wanlass Park, 320 N Main St. Runners will go north on Main Street, make a right onto Highway 9, stay on 9 until they reach the LaVerkin Look off road, they will then make a right onto the dirt road and travel for a half of a mile, till they reach the aid station and the turn around spot. The first half of this route is challenging as it is mostly up hill. The second half of the course will be fast paced as it follows the same route back down the hill. The views of the Pine Valley Mountains and surrounding areas are amazing! All 10K runners must run within the coned areas. The right lane will be coned off for the runners to use, until the second lane ends. At that point, runners will need to run on the edge of the road or next to the road on the dirt/gravel area. All 5K and 10K runners will be required to sign a waiver. The wavier must be signed at packet pick-up.

For those of you who would like a less intense run, we have our 5K route. The 5K route loops around the east side of LaVerkin and also has amazing views of the Pine Valley mountains.

We will again hold our treasure hunt in the park. Come and search for treasures from our amazing sponsors! All race participants will receive a long sleeve tech shirt to keep you warm.

Packet pick-up is Friday, December 1st at the LaVerkin City office, 435 N Main, 5-7:30 pm and December 2nd, at the LaVerkin City Wanlass Park, 320 N Main, 7:30 am. Treasure Hunt at 8:15 a.m. Races begin at 9:00 am.

Registration fees: 5K and 10K races are $18.00 thru Sep 28th.
Sep 29th thru Nov 16th registration fees are $20.00
Late registration Nov 17th through Dec 1st is $25
Same day registration, December 2nd is $30.00.
