***Please note that T-shirts have been ordered. They are a limited supply and are first come first serve. We will place a second order of t-shirts if needed after the race and will get your shirt to you once they arrive. If you registered prior to today, you should get the shirt you requested.

Welcome to the registration site for the Travis Thurgood Memorial Run. This 5K race begins and ends on the east side of Centerville City Hall. The starting line is located at 250 N 100 E, Centerville, UT. The race will be held on Saturday - August 3, 2024, at 7:30 AM. Packet pick-up will occur on the morning of the race. Online registration is preferred, but onsite registration will be available the morning of, at an increased price.

This event is put on by the Valhalla Track Club, a non-profit organization that sponsors Viewmont High School's Cross Country and Track & Field student-athletes. This race is a fundraiser for the club and a memorial run for one of our team dads, Travis Thurgood, who passed away in 2022 from COVID-19. Travis loved to run and he loved coaching a children's running team and supporting his own kids and fellow athletes at the high school level. After his passing, the phrase, "Run Like Travis" was created. To "Run Like Travis" can mean something different to everyone. Travis contributed so much to the community, always willing to jump in and help someone in need, often before they asked for it. Travis was dedicated to his family, community, and his trade as a structural engineer and concrete man. Run Like Travis means to show up, give your all, and have fun doing it.
