Event Information

Run For The Vets 5K fun run/walk, 10K trail run and kids 1 mile. We're real excited for this years event, what a great way to honor and remember our veterans by coming out and running or walking with friends and families to give special thanks to these awesome people. The 5K course is a very easy out and back route on the local bike/walking path that will start at the sevier valley center parking lot and loop around the war memorial in the cemetery and back to the starting line. The 10k trail route is a bit more advanced and will start at the same location with a mix of uphill rocky trail, gravel road and pavemen, the kids 1 mile will be an easy out and back course. Day of registration will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Well have the national anthem and start the kids race and go right into the 5k & 10k. $25 per person and families only of 4 or more $20 each. Participants will receive a unisex t-shirt, bib, wrist band, and finisher medal. Hot chocolate and doughnuts for some and water and fruit for others at the finish. Grab your jacket and come help us remember and honor our amazing Veterans.
