Event Information

The South Sevier High School Track and Field Team is excited to host the 2025 Monroe Milk Run on July 24, 2025. The 5 Mile Milk Run is a long-time tradition in Monroe as part of the amazing 24th of July Pioneer Day celebration. This run began as the original course travelled past many milk barns from start to finish. Our race continues to celebrate farming, dairies and the old creamery that played a big role in the early history of Monroe.

The 5 mile course still wanders through farmers' beautiful fields. A 5K is also an option which winds through the southern portion of Monroe. We also host a 1 Mile Kids Run that allows the youngest of runners to be involved. Each race starts and ends at the Monroe City Lions Park on Main Street.

T-shirts are included with entrance fees. All proceeds support the SSHS Track and Field Team.

*The Kids 1 mile run begins at 7:00 am.
*The 5 Mile and 5K runs both begin at 7:30 am.

Registration information:
In-person registration will be held on July 23 at the Monroe City Lions Park during the BBQ (6-8pm).
Race-day registration will be held on July 24 at the park from 6-7 am-THIS WILL INCUR A 5$ LATE FEE.
Online registration WILL END on July 23 at 8:00 pm.
