Event Information

The South Sevier High School Track and Field Team is excited to host the 2026 Monroe Milk Run on Friday, July 24, 2026. This year is the 40th annual 5 Mile Milk Run as part of the amazing 24th of July Pioneer Day celebration. Forty years ago, this run was named for the original course, as it travelled past seven dairies from start to finish. Our race continues to celebrate farming, dairies and the old creamery on North Main Street that played a big role in the early history of Monroe.

The 5 mile course still wanders through farmers' beautiful fields, though the dairies are mostly retired. The 5K is also an option which winds through the southern portion of Monroe. We also host a 1 Mile Kids Run that allows the youngest of runners to be involved. Each race starts and ends at the Monroe City Lions Park on Main Street.

For the SECOND YEAR, there will be a 1 block sprint race, it will start after the kids mile. Who will be the quickest male and female at this year's milk run? There will be no age divisions or prizes for this event except for the fastest male and female.

T-shirts are included with entrance fees. All proceeds support the SSHS Track and Field Team. We thank you for your support!

*The Kids 1 mile run begins at 7:00am.
*The 1 Block Sprint will begin approximately at 7:20am.
*The 5 Mile and 5K runs both begin at 7:30am.

Registration information:
- Please register through runnercard!
- Bib pick up and registration help will be available on July 23rd at the Monroe City Lions Park during the BBQ (6-8pm).
- Bib pick up and registration will continue on July 24th 6:00-6:45am - A $5 late fee will be added if registration takes places after 8pm on July 23rd.
- NO registrations will be accepted after 6:45am on July 24th!
