A shout out to all Mummies (& Dads)...Don't be "Tricked" into just any old Halloween event! Come "Treat" yourself & your little goblins to a run with the AFHS Swim Team-sponsored fundraiser, the "Fish Out of Water" Halloween 5K & Kid's Races!
It's 9:00 a.m. Halloween morning! Vampires have beaten the sunrise back to their coffins. Trick or Treating by moonlight is still hours away! So grab your costume (or not...they're optional) & meet us for a haunting good time! There are several fun Kid's Races from a 200m to a 1 Mile run, followed by a 5k open to everyone!
All Kid's Race runners will receive ribbons. Overall Male/Female 5k Winners & top Male/Female in each 5k age category will be awarded. We'll also award "Best Costume" for kids 12 & Under & also 13 & Up!
Pre & Late Registration guarantees a custom designed race tee shirt. Extra tee shirts may be ordered while registering for the race. Same Day Registration--while shirt supplies last-- sorry! After the race, runners may enjoy recovery "treats" & each bib number is entered to win fabulous prizes in our famous drawing! Any remaining tee shirts may be purchased at the race for $10.00.

Our Halloween event includes a series of a 5K & a series of Kid's Races. The Kid's Races, "witch" will start & finish on the high school track are from the 200m to the 1 Mile. The 5k will begin on school property & wind around a scenic off-campus course **Sorry, no graveyards** before finishing on the track.
*Kid's Races begin at 9:00 a.m. These include: 200m for ages 4 & Under, 400m for ages 5-6, 800m for ages 7-9, 1 Mile for ages 10-12. Races will be divided into Girl's & Boy's events. All Kid's Race runners receive a ribbon.
*The 5k begins at 10:00 a.m. & includes runners of any age. Age categories include: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Overall Male/Female winners, plus top Male/Female in each age category.
*Tee shirt & Bib Pick Up/"Same Day Registration" opens at 8:00 a.m.
*Kid's Race "Same Day Registration" closes at 8:45 a.m. Race starts at 9:00.
*5k "Same Day Registration" closes at 9:30 a.m. Race starts at 10:00.
*Following the race will be recovery "treats," awards, & All participants are eligible for prizes in our drawing according to bib numbers.
