2017 First Annual Veteran's Freedom Run
A special day for all those that have served our country for our "Freedom."

All proceeds will provide meals to our local Veterans during the Holiday season.

Race and escort will start and finish at the American Legion Tom Whitmore Post 28, Green River WY. Then a special free Veteran's Day Spaghetti luncheon at the Senior Golden Hour starting at Noon - 2:00 pm sponsored by the Green River Girl Scouts. This year, it's only for Veteran's and their families.

Entry Fee:
10k Course $35: Race will start and finish at the American Legion, across the Viaduct bridge and along our majestic Green River.

5k Course $25: Race will start and finish at the American Legion, across the Viaduct bridge and along our majestic Green River.

1 Mile: Veterans will be escorted by the Green River Girl Scouts. They will walk, push wheelchairs, and be by your side each step of the way. You will be lead by the American Legion Color Guard onto Flaming Gorge back to the American Legion. Green River High School band will perform, as well as, a special flag presentation from the Green River Fire Department at the start and finish line.

All participating Veterans for the 1 mile escort will receive a complimentary t-shirt.

All runners will receive a running bag and a t-shirt. (Late registration will not guarantee a bag or a shirt).

Prizes: First, second, and third place medals for each age division.

Registration deadline is October 28, 2017.
