Come join us for a great activity! We start the event at 8:45 a.m. with the Kid's races on BYU's world-class track! Follow that with the 5K Run at 9:45 a.m. Finish on the track in BYU's world class Clarence Robison Track and Field Stadium. After the race enjoy our famous blue pancakes, courtesy of Kodiak Cakes!! And, due to popular demand, we are bringing back fruit!
Kid's Races
We have 4 races each for boys and for girls. Children ages 1-4 compete in a 200 meter run, ages 5-6 compete in a 400 meter run, ages 7-9 compete in a 800 meter run, and ages 10-12 compete in a one mile run. Members of the BYU Track team will encourage and escort the kids in the races.
5K Run
At 9:45 a.m. is the 5K Run. BYU has slated a new course for us this year. Campus construction on the HFAC and the path from the TNRB to Helaman have required a change. The race starts on the track, circles the north part of campus, goes thru campus, and then loops the south part of campus before returning to the track for the finish in front of the main stands. On-line registration will be open until Friday, October 20th at 4:30 pm MDT. Register early! Full complement of shirts and sizes available through October 6th. After that time, you will need to select from the sizes that are still available.
Once you are registered, just arrive at the track 30 min. early to pick up your bib number and shirt. See you at the race!
